The key to the best tasting desserts is using the best quality ingredients. I use butter, REAL butter, never trans-fats. I make my own homemade vanilla from real vanilla beans. I use authentic Dutch process cocoa for a deep, rich chocolate flavor. It’s amazing! My fruit fillings and flavors always come from fresh fruit, with citrus zest and juice for the brightest flavors.

My cookies start at $50 per dozen. This is for basic design cookies with up to 3 designs and 3 colors. Black and White do not count toward your 3 colors. Your cookies are individually heat sealed in a plastic bag, unless otherwise specified by you, and then boxed. Adding colors, air brushing, metallics, lots of writing and detail will increase the price.

Character and Logo cookies have their own pricing based on the intricacies of the design.

Please provide as much information as you can on the order form for a more accurate proposal.

Standard size sugar cookies are about 3 to 4”.  Minis are about 2” x 2”.

Yes! Decorated sugar cookies freeze very well. If my calendar is full on the day you need your order, ordering for an earlier pick up date and freezing is a great option.  Cookies are heat sealed in their own plastic bag and then boxed.  You can put the box directly into your freezer.  If you prefer you can put them in a large, sealable plastic bag, single layer separated by bubble wrap. Place your cookies on a sheet pan and place them in the freezer. I suggest removing them from the freezer the night before you need them. DO NOT open them until they are completely thawed! This is very important as opening them could cause condensation and ruin your cookies.

For cookies and cupcakes a minimum of 2 weeks (10 business days) is required.  Orders requested after the 2 weeks notice time frame will be charged a 20% late fee.  Cakes require at least 4 weeks notice and a rush fee of 20%  will be applied for orders requested with less than 4 weeks notice.

Cakewalk Sweetery is NOT a nut-free zone.  If you need nut-free desserts, I will take every precaution against cross-contamination and you will be asked to sign a waiver if you have a nut allergy. However, there is no guarantee for those with severe allergies.

Occasionally some decoration will be made from Fondant or Modeling Chocolate.

Custom Wedding Cakes start at $5 per serving. Other custom cakes start at $4 per serving.

If you would like to send me a picture of a design or an invitation, I will use it for inspiration, but I do not directly copy other decorator’s designs. I prefer to design something original just for you!

Yes, delivery is available upon request.  The delivery price will be determined based on distance and the time spent setting up your cake.

Regular pick-up times:

Monday – Friday: 3pm – 6pm

Saturday: 10am – 12pm.

Additional pickup times are by appointment only.

Once your order has been picked up by you or your representative, the order has been accepted.  If you or your representative elect to pick up and set up the cake, you assume ALL liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake/order once it leaves our possession.

I will fully refund and cancel custom cookie orders and custom cake orders up to 30 days prior to the pick-up date (for wedding cakes, see below). If you cancel within the 30 days, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 20% (80% refund). Less than 14 days from pick up there will be no refund. There is no refund for cookies already made. If an order is not picked up within 24 hours of the arranged pick up time, the order is forfeit and no refund will be given unless other arrangements have been made with me.

For wedding cakes, I will refund 50% and cancel up to 30 prior to the pick up or delivery date.  If cancellation is made within the 30 days and up to 2 weeks prior to the event, I will refund 25%.  Cancellation of less than 2 weeks, there will be no refund.
